separated the combatants at game's end. The Caracas Leones won by the
slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
The game was won by Caracas when they scored a run in the 9th inning. Brandon
Belt slapped a single. Xander Bogaerts stepped into the batter's box and he
lined a one-base hit. Carlos Santana then lashed a single scoring the run.
Richard Rodriguez was great in relief and recorded his 7th save.
The win went to Domingo German(1-3) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Trevor
May(1-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He gave up 3 hits and no walks
without retiring a batter.
