The Tampico Stogies readily handled Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 5 to 1
at Jurassic Park.
Dyersville was unable to recover after Tampico went ahead in the 4th inning
scoring 2 runners on 2 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Josh
Donaldson who silenced the crowd when he popped a two-run clout over the
fence. Tampico had only 6 hits for the game.
The win went to Jose Urquidy(2-2) who allowed 1 run in 7 innings. Anthony
Desclafani(2-6) was the losing pitcher. The Tampico ballclub's record now
stands at 28-27. With an impressive recent record of 8-2, Dyersville hopes
this will only be an isolated loss - followed by another nice run.
