The Streator Reds and the Dublin Pubcrawlers locked up in an exciting one-run
game at Chase Field. The final score was the Streator Reds 4, the Dublin
Pubcrawlers 3.
Streator scored 2 runs in the 7th inning. The critical plate appearance was
by Rhys Hoskins who deflated the crowd as he doubled which was good for two
runs. Streator had only 6 hits for the game.
The win was credited to Scott Barlow(3-1) who went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Barlow was helped out by Paul Sewald who recorded his 4th save.
Touki Toussaint(1-1) was charged with the loss. Despite the loss, he
struckout 9 Streator batters in 6 and 2/3 innings.
The Streator ballclub's record now stands at 20-24. Dublin has a record of
23-21 after the loss.
