The Chicago Colts snapped their 5 game slide and edged the Hollywood Marines
in 10 innings at Comerica Park by the score of 5 to 4.
The score was tied at 4 after nine. Chicago came out on top in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Liam Hendriks then let one get away for a
wild pitch. After another out, Hendriks then threw one that got by the
catcher for a passed ball scoring the run. Chicago finished with 10 hits
while Hollywood ended up with 7.
The win went to Kendall Graveman(1-4) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Dylan Floro preserved the game for Graveman, recording his his 3rd
save. Hendriks(2-5) absorbed the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser
as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work.
