Walker Buehler reeled off a total of 11 strikeouts at Camden Yards as the
Burbank Tigers beat the Holland Heffalumps by the count of 3 to
2.
Buehler(5-2) pitched a fine game. He allowed 5 hits and no walks in 7
innings. Holland made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push
the needed runs across.
Josh Hader was credited with his 7th save. Austin Adams(1-1) suffered the
loss in relief. By giving up 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning his ERA increased
from 1.35 to 1.93.
The Burbank fans were thrilled by the performance put forth by Buehler, but it
was clearly his strikeouts that they enjoyed most. 'When he reached 10
strikeouts the fans showed him their appreciation with a loud cheer.' Wes
Davies said following the game.
