Trent Grisham slammed a homerun as the Caracas Leones defeated the Oakland
Athletics by the score of 5 to 4 at Leones Field.
Caracas wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring a single
run on 2 base hits. Oakland threatened in the 9th but their rally came up
short.
The victory was credited to Kevin Gausman(4-1) who went 7 innings, allowing no
runs. Richard Rodriguez earned his 4th save. John Means(1-6) was given the
loss.
'It was a tough one to lose' said Joe Ingraffia 'We'll get them next time
out.'
