Brandon Belt homered and had 4 RBI as the Caracas Leones topped the Chicago
Colts by a score of 6 to 5 at West Side Park.
Caracas had 4 runs cross the plate in the top of the 6th inning with the help
of 4 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Belt who silenced the crowd
when he lofted a three-run bomb. Chicago threatened in the 9th but Caracas
was able to put down the rally.
The win was credited to Kwang Hyun Kim(2-1) who went 4 innings allowing 2
runs. Kenley Jansen earned his 9th save. Kendall Graveman(0-4) suffered the
loss in relief.
