At RingCentral Coliseum, the Oakland faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel. Walker Buehler(3-2) finally bested his Oakland counterpart,
Merrill Kelly(3-1), by the score of 2 to 1.
Oakland was unable to climb back into it after Burbank went ahead for good in
the top of the 6th inning scoring a single run on 2 base hits. The game was
a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.
Buehler was helped out by Matt Barnes who recorded his 2nd save. Kelly was
tagged with the loss. He pitched 6 innings giving up 5 hits and 1 walk.
