David Bote rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Gotham Gold Gloves
defeated the Jamaica Smoke by the score of 10 to 6 at Lawton Stadium.
Bote was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at
their team's expense. He cracked a two-run shot in the 2nd inning and
delivered a solo blast in the 5th inning. Gotham had a total of 15 hits for
the game.
Garrett Richards(1-3) got the win allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Robbie
Ray(1-2) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 3 and
1/3 innings.
