Yusmeiro Petit(1-0) was the winner as Jamaica Smoke shutout the Gotham Gold
Gloves by a 3 to 0 score at Lawton Stadium.
Gotham surrendered all of the runs Jamaica needed in the 2nd inning scoring 3
runners on 2 hits. The highlight belonged to Manny Machado who made the
crowd happy when he tripled plating two runs. Both teams' bats went to sleep
after the 2nd inning with no runs scored after that point.
Ryan Pressly got the save, his 1st. James Kaprielian(0-1) was the loser. He
pitched 7 innings allowing 6 hits and 3 walks.
