The Gotham Gold Gloves nipped the Burbank Tigers in 10 innings 2 to 1 at Edsel
Stadium in a hard fought contest.
The score was tied at 1 after nine. Finally, Gotham prevailed in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Kolten Wong singled giving Gotham the win
as 964 happy fans joyfully celebrated. Gotham finished with just 6 hits in
the victory.
The winning pitcher was Chris Martin(1-0) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an
inning. Tyler Wells(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck
loser, pitching 1 and 1/3 innings and not allowing an earned run.
