With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
Aarlington Aardvarks rallied to top Chicago WC White Caps by the score of 5
to 4.
Aarlington scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 9th inning as they
scored 4 runs on 3 base hits. Aarlington out-hit Chicago WC for the game, 11
hits to 5.
The win went to Eric Lauer(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 3 innings. Alex
Colome(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief. 'Now there is a lesson in
perseverance for you,' Nick Madrigal noted. 'It was looking pretty dim there
for a while, but we just kept plugging away and it really paid off in spades!
And it was great to see the crowd go crazy there at the end!'
