2021 Rule Change Ballot

Proposal 1:  Beginning with the Protect List filed in January 2022, the Taxi Squad is eliminated. Teams can now protect up to 25 players, all of whom may be used in the replay season subject to the other restrictions. If a team elects to protect fewer than 25 players, they will receive draft picks in rounds 17 and beyond, one for every unused roster slot below 25.
Vote YES on Proposal 2 if: you want to eliminate the Taxi Squad.
Vote NO on Proposal 2 if: you want to keep the Taxi Squad.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 2 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes
Proposal 2: Starting with the 2022 draft, the draft window for 7 to 10PM Central Time on the first night of the draft will be shortened to 30 minutes. The draft window for the remainder of the draft will change from 12 to 4 hours.
Vote YES on Proposal 2 if: you want to decrease the draft window.
Vote NO on Proposal 2 if: you want to keep the rules concerning the draft window as they are.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 2 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Proposal 3: Starting in 2022, all trades must be posted using To <team>: wording. Each player must be listed with their first and last names. All picks must include the year in parentheses. If a team has multiple players with the same first and last name and trades one of them, enough information must be provided to uniquely identify the traded player (such as the player’s MLB team listed on their player card, player’s middle initial or primary position). Each manager that is involved in a trade posted and confirmed that does not meet these parameters may be levied a $1 fine at the discretion of the Roster & Draft Pick Manager.

Vote YES on Proposal 3 if: you want to require the new trade requirements.
Vote NO on Proposal 3 if: you do NOT want to require the new trade requirements.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 3 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Proposal 4: Should the suspended rule concerning the $1 per trade transaction fee be removed from the rules.
Vote YES on Proposal 4 if: you want to remove the rule.
Vote NO on Proposal 4 if: you want to keep the suspended rule.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 4 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Proposal 5: Should each manager in the league receive a $40 refund at the end of the 2021 replay season? The refund may be applied towards 2022 league fees.
Vote YES on Proposal 5 if: you want the refund to be issued.
Vote NO on Proposal 5 if: you do NOT want the refund to be issued.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 5 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Proposal 6: Starting in 2022, should the Game Manager receive a yearly $120 stipend? This would be in addition to the existing compensation: waiver of league dues and re-imbursement for game software purchase.
Vote YES on Proposal 6 if: you want to the Game Manager to receive the stipend.
Vote NO on Proposal 6 if: you want to keep the Game Manager compensation as it is.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 6 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Proposal 7: Starting this season, should the playoff roster size increase from 25 to 26 players.
Vote YES on Proposal 7 if: you want to the playoff roster size to increase.
Vote NO on Proposal 7 if: you want to keep the playoff roster size at 25.
Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 7 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes.
Executive Committee Vote: Because there is only 1 candidate for the opening, each owner shall cast a Yes or No vote for Frank Lopeman to serve a 3-year term on the Executive Committee.  Voting shall be done by secret ballot and no manager may vote for themselves.  If Frank  receives 10 Yes votes he shall serve.  If he does not receive 10 votes, the EC will determine how to proceed.
