Aardvarks topped the Hollywood Marines by a score of 6 to 5 at Aarlington
Field.
Aarlington wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they
tallied 2 runs on 2 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Keston
Hiura who excited the crowd when he smashed a two-run homer. Brad Hand
relieved and was untouched by Hollywood as he recorded the save, his 13th.
Adam Wainwright(8-13) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 6 innings. The
losing pitcher was Lance Lynn(16-8). 'I just wanted to give my team a chance
to win.' said Wainwright, 'I got burned on a couple of pitches. But we won
the game, and that's all that matters.'
