At Sahlen Field the spectacular Dublin Pubcrawlers easily handled the pathetic
Palatine Cubs by the score of 11 to 7.
Dublin won the game with a rally in the 9th inning scoring 4 runners on 3
hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Joey Votto who quieted the
home crowd when he doubled with all three baserunners touching home. For the
game Dublin out-hit Palatine 13 to 7.
Gregory Soto(1-1) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Nick
Anderson recorded his 22nd save. Ryan Weber(1-6) ended up with the loss in
relief. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 5 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 1/3
innings.
