Asdrubal Cabrera smacked 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the Tombstone
Huckleberries defeated the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score of 6 to 4 at Edsel
Stadium.
Tombstone scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning with 2 runs
using 2 hits. Mitch Garver opened up the scoring as he blasted a solo shot.
Trevor Story dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. One out
later, Cabrera then delivered a solo blast. Overall Tombstone out-hit Gotham
13 to 5.
The victory was credited to Aroldis Chapman(2-3) who went 2/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. Chapman was helped out by Daniel Ponce De Leon who recorded
his 1st save. Tyler Alexander(3-10) was the loser in relief. He surrendered
2 runs and 3 hits in 2 innings.
The Tombstone ballclub's record now stands at 53-74. With this loss, Gotham
