The hometown crowd was rewarded with a dramatic ending, as the Chicago Colts
staged a comeback win over the Tampico Stogies by the count of 6 to
5.

Chicago scored the winning runs in the 9th inning with 3 runs on 4 hits. After
two were out Chance Sisco opened up the rally as he banged out a single.
Jorge Soler stepped into the batter's box and he hit a single. D.J. Lemahieu
then doubled plating a run. Kyle Tucker followed and he was walked
intentionally to load the bases. A balk was called bringing home one more
runner. Victor Caratini did his part to keep things going and drew a walk to
load the bases. Mike Yastrzemski stepped up next and he stroked a one-base
hit giving Chicago the victory and sending the 9,833 home-town fans home
happy. Chicago and Tampico each finished the night with 11 hits.

The win was credited to Blake Parker(2-1) who went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Hector Neris(4-9) was tagged with the loss in relief. He gave up 3
runs and 4 hits in 2/3 of an inning.

Parker and Tucker were really whooping it up in the clubhouse after the great
come from behind victory. As Rich Domovic noted, 'A win like this one can do
wonders for a team's attitude.' Everyone shares in the joy - the fans, the
players - even you guys - it's better than winning by a dozen runs!'
