Eddie Rosario homered as the Palatine Cubs won at Sahlen Field in dramatic
fashion over the Chicago Colts, the final score, 10 to 9.
Palatine scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Manuel
Margot drew a walk. Margot took off for second and slid in with a stolen
base. Nick Madrigal then doubled resulting in an exciting win for Palatine
and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Palatine had a
total of 10 hits for the game.
Ryan Pressly(3-4) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win. Kyle
Zimmer(1-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Matt Chapman knocked 2
homeruns and had 4 RBI but it wasn't enough for Chicago.
