The Holland Heffalumps edged the Aarlington Aardvarks in 11 innings at The
Heffadrome by the score of 4 to 3.
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Finally, Holland prevailed in
the 11th inning. Josh Bell lined a single. Bell took second on the throw.
Francisco Lindor came to the plate and was walked intentionally. Enrique
Hernandez then delivered a base-hit to load the bases. Martin Maldonado
stepped in and he ripped a one-base hit making Holland the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful. Holland had 10 hits for the night.
Diego Castillo(4-3) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. Josh
Lindblom(1-9) took the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 3 hits in
1/3 of an inning.
