In an entertaining game at West Side Park the final score was the Chicago
Colts 7, the Tampico Stogies 4.
Chicago jumped on top to stay in the bottom of the 5th inning plating an
isolated run utilizing 2 base hits. Tampico was set down quietly in the 9th.
The win went to Masahiro Tanaka(5-7) who allowed 4 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings.
Mark Melancon was credited with his 8th save. Kris Bubic(3-4) ended up with
the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
