Michael Lorenzen went 6 solid innings and Marcus Semien left the yard at Edsel
Stadium where the Chicago Colts beat the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score of 3
to 2.
Chicago jumped on top to stay in the top of the 5th inning scoring a single
run. Gotham threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
The win went to Lorenzen(3-2) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Aaron Slegers
recorded the save, his 10th. Tanner Roark(1-5) took the loss. Despite the
loss, he struckout 7 Chicago batters in 4 and 2/3 innings.
'This was a tough loss,' said Mike Wilson, 'the kind that sticks with you for
awhile.'
