The Chicago Colts and the Dyersville Jurassics locked up in an exciting
one-run game at West Side Park. The final score was the Chicago Colts 8, the
Dyersville Jurassics 7 in 10 innings.
Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Chicago
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Ronald Guzman jump-started the rally
as he doubled scoring a single run. Mike Yastrzemski was next and he stroked
a base-hit giving Chicago the victory as 9,266 happy fans celebrated wildly.
It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 6 times.
The win went to Aaron Slegers(6-2) who allowed 2 runs in 3 innings. Sergio
Romo(1-1) took the loss in relief. Wth the win Chicago now has a record of a
