Byron Buxton launched 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Shane Bieber retired 14
batters on strikeouts as the Dublin Pubcrawlers topped the Tampico Stogies by
a score of 9 to 3 at Chase Field.
It was a good day for Dublin thanks to Buxton. He lifted one out of the park
for a two run home run in the 1st inning and clubbed a three-run home run in
the 4th inning. Dublin ended up with 10 hits for the game while Tampico had
7.
The victory went to Bieber(10-1) who went 7 innings, allowing 1 run. Johan
Oviedo(1-3) took the loss. He allowed 10 hits and 5 walks in 5 and 2/3
innings.
'Everything felt great' Bieber said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could
throw it by everybody tonight.'
