At Streator Park the San Ybel Islanders outscored the Streator Reds in 11
innings 7 to 4.
The score was tied at 4 after nine. San Ybel won the hard fought contest in
the 11th inning. David Fletcher jump-started the scoring when he cracked a
two-run shot. Jake Cronenworth came to the plate and tripled. Alex Bregman
then ripped a one-base hit scoring the final run of the inning. Overall San
Ybel out-hit Streator 10 to 5.
The victory was credited to Emilio Pagan(3-1) who went 2 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Anthony Bass recorded his 11th save. Triston McKenzie(0-7)
absorbed the loss in relief. While he was the losing pitcher, he still
struck out 7 batters in 3 and 2/3 innings.
