Mike Yastrzemski blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI at The Heffadrome where the
Chicago Colts beat the Holland Heffalumps by the score of 7 to 4.
Aaron Civale(1-2) delivered a fine performance for Chicago. He went 8 innings
and surrended up 6 hits and 1 walk and served up 2 'big flies' seeing his ERA
drop from 5.32 to 4.85. Holland threatened in the 9th but their rally came
up short.
Mark Melancon earned his 4th save. The losing pitcher was Justin Dunn(0-2).
He allowed 3 homeruns in 6 and 2/3 innings of work.
Steve Seydell was subdued when questioned after the game, 'Sure, this kind of
loss takes a while to get over, but heck, we're all professionals. We've
been through this many times - it's the nature of the game. We'll be fine -
as for me - I'll be ready to go again tomorrow!'
