Tommy La Stella hit a homerun and had 3 RBI and Dylan Bundy struck out 11
batters at The Horseshoe as the Columbus Crowd won in dramatic fashion coming
back to beat the ice-cold Dyersville Jurassics by the count of 10 to
9.
Columbus came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning when they
came up with 6 runs on 4 hits. The key at-bat was by La Stella who brought
the crowd to their feet when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run.
Columbus finished with 10 hits in the victory.
Caleb Thielbar(3-0) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory.
Jeremy Jeffress(0-2) was given the loss in relief. Frank Lopeman was
ebullient after the game, 'It's great to win a hard fought game like that.
Our guys just weren't going to be denied. And did you see the fans - they
were going wild! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win tonight!'
