Jacoby Jones went yard and scored 3 times as the San Ybel Islanders defeated
the Tampico Stogies 9 to 3 at SunTrust Park.
Tampico never recovered after San Ybel took the lead in the bottom of the 2nd
inning scoring one runner utilizing 2 base hits. Jones drew a walk. Alex
Bregman stepped into the batter's box and he doubled scoring the run.
Offensively, San Ybel was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.
The win went to German Marquez(5-1) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Grant
Dayton was credited with his 2nd save. The losing pitcher was Yusei
Kikuchi(0-4). San Ybel scored big getting 6 runs off him in 5 and 2/3
innings.
