The San Ybel Islanders edged the Hollywood Marines at Comerica Park by the
score of 3 to 2.
San Ybel had 2 runs cross the plate in the 6th inning. The key at-bat was by
Tommy Edman who quieted the home crowd when he ripped a base-knock scoring
two baserunners. Hollywood had a chance to come back in the 9th but they
came up short.
Jose Berrios(4-0) allowed 2 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Anthony Bass gained credit for his 6th save. Lance Lynn(2-2) was tagged with
the loss.
'We didn't get the key hits when we needed them' Brian Anderson said. 'We did
what we could, we just didn't pull out the win. What can you say?'
