Yairo Munoz hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI as the Hollywood Marines
defeated the Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 11 to 9 at Jurassic
Park.
Munoz was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He doubled in the 1st inning, slapped
a single in the 4th inning and rifled a three-run blast in the 7th inning.
Dyersville had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
Sandy Alcantara(1-2) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory.
Liam Hendriks recorded the save, his 2nd. The losing pitcher was Adrian
Houser(0-1).
Despite losing Jim Aldrich was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over this
one. Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one of a
dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
