Center fielder Ramon Laureano connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI and
David Price struck out 10 batters at The O.K. Corral where the spectacular
Vernon Hillbillies beat the Tombstone Huckleberries 4 to 3.
Price(9-7) pitched a solid game. He went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 8 hits
and 1 walk. Tombstone threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Price got help from Zack Britton who was credited with his 17th save. The
loss was charged to Jeff Samardzija(7-11). Price was pleased with his
performance. He noted, 'I had good command of all my pitches. Just as
important, my location was right on.'
