The San Ybel Islanders got by the Palatine Cubs at Rogers Centre. The final
score was 3 to 1.
San Ybel won the game with a run in the top of the 8th inning. After two were
out Freddy Galvis tripled. David Fletcher stepped up to the plate and he
doubled scoring the run. San Ybel finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Jose Berrios(11-8) who went 7 innings allowing 1 run.
Berrios was helped out by Craig Stammen who recorded his 2nd save. Brandon
Kintzler(3-2) was given the loss in relief.
