Walker Buehler had an impressive outing and Jose Abreu cleared the bases with
his grand slam at Camden Yards as the Burbank Tigers beat the Columbus Crowd
by the count of 8 to 0.
Burbank jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning plating one baserunner on 2
base hits. After two were out Trea Turner laced a one-base hit. Wilson
Ramos stepped up next and he doubled scoring the run. That was all the
offense they were to need. Burbank ended up with 14 hits for the game while
Columbus had 4.
The victory was credited to Buehler(10-6) who went 6 innings, allowing no
runs. Tyler Mahle(3-3) was the loser. The winning ways continue for Burbank.
They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days. With the loss, the Columbus
ballclub's record is 55-61, worst in the division.
