Matt Olson slammed 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI at The Heffadrome as the Holland
Heffalumps beat the Aarlington Aardvarks 12 to 5.
Olson had a great evening at the plate. He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 3rd inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 4th inning and
popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 8th inning. Holland had 16 hits
overall, while Aarlington had 8.
Reyes Moronta(4-0) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. The losing
pitcher was Adam Wainwright(5-8). He surrendered 8 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings
and saw his ERA increase from 5.15 to 5.57.
'It's almost like the ball was trying to hit my bat,' Olson said. 'Whenever I
would swing, the ball found the sweet spot.'
