Mookie Betts rocketed 2 homeruns as the Holland Heffalumps defeated the
Oakland Athletics in 10 innings by the score of 9 to 8 at The
Heffadrome.
The game was deadlocked at 8 after nine full innings. Holland won it in the
10th inning. Garrett Cooper smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' making Holland
victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Holland rapped out 13
hits for the night.
The win was credited to Stefan Crichton(3-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings
allowing no runs. Austin Brice(3-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He was
unable to retire a batter and surrendered 1 hit and no walks.
