44,686 fans watched an exciting game at Chase Field. The Dublin Pubcrawlers
topped the New York The Yanks by the slimmest of margins, 8 to 7.
Dublin took the lead for good in the 2nd inning scoring one runner. New York
had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Madison Bumgarner(8-6) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win.
Bumgarner got help from Brandon Workman who was credited with his 18th save.
Jordan Yamamoto(4-1) was the losing pitcher. Dublin knocked him around a
bit, as he gave up 6 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said Jim Calabrese 'But we
have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
