At Jurassic Park the Aarlington Aardvarks easily handled the Dyersville
Jurassics in 11 innings by the score of 9 to 5.
The score was tied at 5 after nine. Finally, Aarlington pulled the game out
in the 11th inning. The critical plate appearance was by Guillermo Heredia
who deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he launched a
rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun. Aarlington managed 11
hits in their victory.
The victory was credited to Andrew Miller(3-0) who went 3 innings, allowing 1
run. Ryan Pressly(1-2) was the loser in relief. The Aarlington ballclub's
record now stands at 25-31. With this loss, Dyersville has a 4-6 record of
late, 19-37, worst in the division overall.
