The Aarlington Aardvarks nipped the New York The Yanks in 10 innings 2 to 1 at
Aarlington Field in a hard fought contest.
Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings. Finally, Aarlington
prevailed in the 10th inning. Omar Narvaez smashed a solo-shot out of the
park giving Aarlington the win much to the delight of the home town crowd.
Neither team was able to score until the 6th inning.
The win was credited to Tommy Milone(1-4) who went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Ross Stripling(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
