Blake Snell struck out 10 batters at The O.K. Corral as the blistering-hot
Tombstone Huckleberries beat the Hollywood Marines 1 to 0.
Snell(1-3) was virtually untouchable. He allowed only 2 hits and 1 walk in 7
innings. Hollywood tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Trevor May preserved the game for Snell, recording his his 6th save. Marcus
Stroman(1-2) was hit with the loss. The Tombstone fans were thrilled by the
performance put forth by Snell, but it was clearly his strikeouts that they
enjoyed most. 'When he reached 10 strikeouts the fans showed him their
appreciation with a loud cheer.' Doug Salzwedel said following the game.
