Third baseman Brian Anderson slammed a homerun and had 5 RBI at Comerica Park
where the Hollywood Marines beat the Columbus Crowd by the score of 13 to
12.
Anderson enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He doubled scoring two
baserunners in the 6th inning and rifled a three-run blast in the 7th inning.
Columbus had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Scott Barlow(1-0) got the win allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning. Liam
Hendriks was credited with his 5th save. Mychal Givens(1-2) ended up with
the loss in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1 hit in 1/3 of an inning.
