The Streator Reds and the Aarlington Aardvarks locked up in an exciting
one-run game at Aarlington Field. The final score was the Streator Reds 2,
the Aarlington Aardvarks 1.
Streator came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning plating 2 runs using
3 hits. After two outs Carlos Santana was the sparkplug when he delivered a
single. Willson Contreras followed next and he cleared the fences for a
two-run home run. Overall Streator out-hit Aarlington 8 to 5.
Jameson Taillon(1-2) went 7 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Jordan Hicks
earned the save, his 3rd. Tyler Clippard(0-1) was the losing pitcher in
