With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
New York The Yanks rallied to top Dyersville Jurassics by the score of 5 to
4.
New York won the game with a rally in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 runs
utilizing 3 base hits. Jackie Bradley Jr led off and got things going when
he doubled. After an out was recorded, Tim Locastro came up and he smacked a
single. Howie Kendrick then popped a two-run clout over the fence resulting
in an exciting win for New York and a raucous post-game celebration by the
home town fans. New York had 13 hits for the game and Dyersville had 10.
Jimmy Cordero(2-1) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. The loss was
charged to Sergio Romo(0-1) in relief. 'Wow, that was fun!', Cordero said
following the game. 'Once in a while you play a game that reminds you just
why you got into this business to begin with!'
