20,942 fans watched an exciting game at SunTrust Park. The San Ybel Islanders
topped the Oakland Athletics by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
San Ybel took the lead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning plating an
isolated run. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans,
as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.
Chris Martin(1-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Martin
got relief help from Emilio Pagan who gained credit for his 1st save. Matt
Boyd(0-1) absorbed the loss. He pitched 6 and 2/3 innings giving up 9 hits
and 1 walk.
