Aarlington scored 1 run in the bottom of the 6th inning. New York tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th. Shawn Kelley(5-2) went 1 and 2/3
innings allowing no runs for the win. Kelley got help from Brad Hand who was
credited with his 7th save. Mike Fiers(4-11) suffered the loss. He was
knocked around by Aarlington, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 and 2/3
innings.
