Catcher Wilson Ramos ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Dylan Floro performed
beautifully in relief as the Chicago Colts topped the Dyersville Jurassics by
a score of 14 to 6 at the ballpark.
Ramos had a big evening at the plate. He lined a base-hit in the 4th inning,
clubbed a solo home run in the 6th inning and belted a three-run homer in the
7th inning. Chicago had 17 hits overall, while Dyersville had 11.
The win went to Shane Carle(2-3) who allowed 2 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Floro recorded the save, his 1st. Felix Hernandez(2-12) was given the loss.
He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Chicago now has a record of 49-49. With this loss, Dyersville has a 3-7
record of late, 48-50 overall.
