The Dublin Pubcrawlers plated 6 runs in the 7th inning and cruised to a 14 to
8 victory over the Columbus Crowd at The Horseshoe.
Dublin came up with 6 runs in the top of the 7th inning when they had 3 base
hits. The big moment was provided by Carlos Correa who quieted the home
crowd when he doubled emptying the bases. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame,
scoring in 5 different innings was still not enough for Columbus to come away
with the victory.
The victory was credited to Caleb Ferguson(3-0) who went 2/3 of an inning,
allowing 1 run. Alex Claudio(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. He
allowed 2 runs and 1 hit without retiring a batter.
With this win, Dublin has a 46-48 record. They have been 7-3 lately. Not
able to get much going in recent weeks, Columbus is 2-8 of late and now has
an overall record of 40-54, worst in the division.
