Renato Nunez had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Oakland Athletics defeated the
Holland Heffalumps in 11 innings by a score of 7 to 6 at Wrigley Field.
The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings. Oakland was victorious in the
11th inning. Wilmer Difo ripped a base-knock. Nunez came next and he
doubled making Oakland the victor and beginning a joyous home town
celebration. Oakland managed 13 hits in their victory.
