Dyersville Jurassics topped the Caracas Leones by the slimmest of margins, 7
to 6.
Dyersville set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring 2 runners on 4
hits. Caracas had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
The victory went to Jack Flaherty(5-4) who went 5 and 2/3 innings, allowing 3
runs. Keone Kela earned the save, his 16th. The losing pitcher was Sean
Newcomb(1-7). He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 4 walks in 5 and 1/3
innings.
With the win, Dyersville continued their winning ways; their streak now stands
at 7 games and counting.
