Jesus Aguilar touched them all and had 2 RBI at Chase Field where the Tampico
Stogies beat the Dublin Pubcrawlers in 10 innings 9 to 6.
The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings. Finally, Tampico pulled the
game out in the 10th inning. Brett Gardner kicked off the action when he
drew a walk. Jose Peraza next to the plate and he reached on an error.
Tucker Barnhart then hit a sacrifice fly which scored a run. Aguilar stepped
in and he cracked a two-run shot. Dublin proved to be no trouble in the
bottom of the 10th.
Jose Leclerc(2-3) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Kenley
Jansen(2-1) was given the loss in relief. He was not very effective,
surrendering 4 runs in 2 innings.
Wth the win Tampico now has a record of 14-25. With the loss, Dublin has a
record of 5-5 lately, 24-15 overall.
