Derek Dietrich slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at West Side Park where the
Chicago Colts beat the San Ybel Islanders by the score of 10 to 3.
It was a good day for Chicago thanks to Dietrich. He cracked a two-run shot
in the 2nd inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 3rd inning
and ripped a one-base hit in the 7th inning. Chicago out-hit San Ybel for
the game, 14 hits to 11.
The victory went to Dylan Covey(3-0) who went 5 and 1/3 innings, allowing 3
runs. James Paxton(1-2) absorbed the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in
his 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
