Carlos Gonzalez hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI as the San Ybel Islanders defeated
the hapless Aarlington Aardvarks 9 to 6 at the ballpark.
Aarlington was unable to climb back into it after San Ybel went ahead for good
in the 6th inning scoring 3 runners on 2 hits. Overall San Ybel out-hit
Aarlington 16 to 10.
Chase Anderson(10-3) allowed 6 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Carl Edwards Jr earned his 4th save. Jordan Zimmermann(5-9) took
the loss. He was knocked around by San Ybel, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in
5 and 2/3 innings.
With this win, San Ybel has a division leading 71-47 record. They have been
6-4 lately. With the loss, the Aarlington ballclub's record is 44-74.
